About Us

I am a 1989 graduate of Union College and earned J.D., cum laude, from SUNY Buffalo School of Law in 1994. While in law school, I was a member of the Buffalo Law Review.

I was admitted to practice in the New York State in 1995. I have been practicing law in Rochester for the past 15 years.

I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and am fluent in Russian. I also understand Ukrainian. Locally, I work with Russian and Ukrainian immigrants, and I am involved with several community organizations.

I also am active in the Union College Alumni Association and Alumni Recruiting Network. In that role, I help raise funds and interview prospective students interested in Union College.

I served on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family Services of Rochester and volunteer with the Volunteer Legal Services Project. As a result of my involvement with the Volunteer Legal Services Project, I received the William E. McKnight Volunteer Service Award in 2000.

In addition, I have participated in the following professional organizations:

Monroe County Bar Association
Professional Performance Committee
Family Law Section

New York State Bar Association

I also am certified as a Law Guardian and serve as an attorney for children in New York State Supreme Court and Family Court matters.

I have a BV Peer Review Rating from Martindale Hubbell attorney directory.
